Hi all I'm new to discus and forums and I dont know which scares me the most, My main reason for asking is I have decided to go RO/DI water as my tap water is bad, so am I correct in thinking all I have to add to that is something like Tropic Marin Discus pro re-min, OR ro right? any thoughts greatly received. Thank you.

Depends, you can remin with some of the waste water from the RO unit if you like. Saves waste and cost. You can always choose to buy fish that are bred in harder water like Stendker fish. Do a google search for Mark Evenden, (Brighton area)he sells some great fish and can advise how best to start. He can post fish too.
