Discus Vitiligo?

Hi I'm a new discus owner. This one fish in question is my second one which I got a week ago. The only other discus in the tank I've had for about a month and is doing really well. It looks like a version of vitiligo in humans. there are no bumps or difference in texture on where the patches are. it literally appeared overnight. not gonna post params as all I need really is help in identifying the disorder and go from there. it's mainly on the face and a small one on the fin. the first time I saw it I though a chunk of his face got bit off. any ideas? thanks
