Feeding my Discus

I bought my fish from a specialist breeder in the UK and they are thriving, have had them for 8 weeks now. He concocts his own blend of discus food being mussels and spinach. I have tried my discus on other stuff like mysis but they are not interested. Can anyone suggest a feeding mix that I can make at home?

Look for ‘beefheart mix’ it is very widely used and easily made at home.
