Catfish in planted tank

Can anyone tell me if peppermints and whiptails are ok in a 6x2x2 planted discus tank??!

i have not heard any thing bad about those in discus tank but in my personal experience peppermints don't last more than a year in my discus tank , don't know why but suspect lack of algae ( clean tank ) is the reason ,don't have any whiptail .

I've had both. Nothing wrong with them in that size tank. Depending on the quantity of plants and the size of the fish, you have trouble seeing them (they like to hide, particularly the Whiptail)
