Epsom salt

Just wanted to know if all epsom salt is the same??
And what is it used for?
I purchased my one at a garden store is that right???

Epsome salt can be used to help push through a blockage in your fish internally. Iodised salt can be used for example in 'salt dips' to remove external parasites from fish.
