Newbie to discus

In your other post you talk about breeding them. If you have never had them before I would set up one tank with discus first before jumping into breeding setups.

You could choose some fish you like and when they grow and a pair forms they could become your first breeding pair. In Australia a breeding pair can be 500 dollars upwards so very expensive if you haven't done it before.

I have another tank that I am setting up as a display tank that I'll use to grow out some discus. I am gathering information on discus cause I am about to setup a small breeding set up, not only just discus. I want to set up it right from the start instead of messing with the plumbing etc later on
