Say I was to sell my discus.

Have a look here for pictures.
http://members.iinet.net.au/~ninjacows/Stuff/photos/

What is the most you would be willing to pay on any particular one?
Im curious as to how and how much people value a discus.

just to make the naming a little easier
Theres a red turq, leapord spotted.
The orange one is a red melon,
the big pink one is a red melon X golden
the small white faced red is a red marlbaro
and an ocean green.

They are in perfect health and condition.

Leopard spotted: 4inches
Red melon: 3.5 inches
Red Marlbaro: 3.5 inches

Red Turq: 5 inches $125

Red melon X golden: 5 inches $80 ( i am not keen on crosses)

Leopard spotted: 4inches $120

Red melon: 3.5 inches $100

Theoretically, how could you contemplate selling? They all look so cute!
I'f you lived in Melbourne, I would visit for sure and take a few of em home with me!

Thats why its a hypothetical question..
Im not going to sell any of them, they are ALL MINE!!! :P

Just wanted to know how people would value them...

What would be the most important factor/s that determine price in your opinion?

IMO, i regard the shape, size and the "feel" of the fish. By feel i mean things like, does it look cute, would it look good with my other fish.

Shape, colour, deportment (how the fish carries himself) and eye colour all have a bearing on the price of a fish. And, in my opinion, robust good health is the most important of all.
