I noticed that one my Wild Heckles has a white fungus like growth on its dorsal fin?
I have no idea what it is and it doesn't appear to be bothering him, he is still active and eating, but I am at a loss.
Can someone help/offer some advice on what it is and how I can cure it?
Cheers

Hi webby, I'm no expert like illusion etc but it just sounds like they're natural stress secretion, maybe it ran into something??
Also you should always tray and post a photo, and the experts will be able to help you better, along with water parameters

Thanks guys, I think it was damage to his fin as it has cleaned up but there seems to be like a scar there
I also treated the tank with pimafix as per the instructions also because one of my rummy nose were swimming upse down which was suggested to possibly be a fungal thing.
Lots of learning to do. This is where it gets hairy. Fingers crossed.

As halowman would always say, dilution is the solution to pollution. And oh is it true!!! There is nothing wrong or unusual with doing daily water changes of %50 when I see something not looking right, or bumping your heat up to 30-32. And yes read read read
