Hi guys,
What a hell of a week, wet wet wet, anyway that said, I would like to just ask anybody who knows anything about buying aquarium equipment on ebay from china, is it worth the risk or should I play it safe and buy from the local fish shop, thanks in advance, cheers.

hi giorid if you get it cheep then it doesnt matter where you get it , But i would just try to get the best quality for my money and it is harder to send things back on ebay ,at a shop you can take it back , but that been said there are some great online shops here that would be able to get aquarium equipment for you and at a good price

I buy aquarium stuff off eBay from China often. Things like bubble counters, CO2 diffusers, solonoids, pH meters etc have been good cheap purchases. I've spent locally on things like LED lighting and filtration because I value the advice from the guys in the aquarium shops, and they need to make a living too.
