Ideas wanted for a 3x2x2 display tank

I'm thinking of setting up a display tank and want to put discus in it along with some cardinals and corys.
So how many discus can I put in it ?? 4 ??
What size sump. Or would anther filtration system be better ??
I'd like it to be planted so what substrate would be best and what plants and light should I go for ??
I want to make it easy as I can to maintain
Any ideas or suggestion welcome along with any advice would be great.

Sounds like a great tank for a breeding pair :)

4 discus probably not a good idea. The heirarchy disputes would likely cause 1 or more of the discus to suffer. I'd go for 8 to 10 discus, but you want to be sure of your skills before attempting that many in your tank.
