I was recommended by aquarium and I am using Seachem Acid Regulator to adjust pH down to 6.4. Since using it the pH has NOT changed and it appears to be very stable, however I am reading a lot about the dangers of using pH regulators. Can anybody recommend a product OR can you confirm if this is ok to use? What are others using to adjust pH down?

the ph regulator is safe, as is seachem acid or discus buffer (both great products) both are safe so long as you dont go crazy with it id keep your pH at 6.4 or maybe go down to 6.0 but no lower. i use HCl (brickcleaning acid) from bunnings. works a treat but it is VERY dangerous
