Has he/she been exhibiting spawning behaviour, as in cleaning a rough or hard surface prior to egg laying?
It looks like an injury of some kind. Just keep the water very clean, and add a little salt to the water.

Just watching it now it and my eruption seem to be defensive of an area, I thought the eruption may still be a little young to spawn,
1 teaspoon salt for about 200 litres? and is table salt fine?
Cheers for your help.

You can easily go a tablespoon per 100 litres. Don't use table salt, it has cornflour in it to stop it clumping and make it run out of the salt shaker. Try to find "Cooking Salt". It's super cheap and has nothing in it but salt. It's usually in a plastic bag.
