centrum as a fish vitamin??

hi all,

have decided to start making my own discus mix (beef heart, prawns, salmon etc) seeing as they are extremely fussy, and was wanting to put in a decent vitamin supplement. i went around to pretty much every aquarium shop in my area to no avail, until at my last point of call, one of the workers told me that he swears by centrum, the multivitamin tablets, to put in his food and supplement his discus - i am somewhat skeptical and was wondering if anyone else has heard of this before?? his advice was to dissolve one tablet per kg of mixture.

I have added on occasion put centrum multi vitamin to their b/h mix.
Just grind it up in a mortar & passel then put through a sieve a tea spoon per 250g.hope this helps.
