Which media

Which is the most effective media for breeding ? Clay cone or PVC pipe ?
If its PVC pipe , can give me a little details ?? size diameter ? etc

Probably a cone, just makes it a bit easier for the discus too fertilise the eggs. PVC is alot cheaper but you could also stand too slates on 45o angles to make a triangle...

Mine seem to prefer the teracotta cones. I have also used a hard plastic cone with success. Never tried pvc pipe, but it would need to be glued to a strong base, cos discus push hard when they are cleaning a surface prior to laying.
