tds and filter material

Hi guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows if ceramic noodles and sintered glass noodles and matrix filter media and chemipure, disolve in acid water (ph 6 ), causing the tds reading to rise, because mine is at 950ppm even after using change water with a tds of 3ppm several times, thanks.

Are you sure of those numbers? I have acidic water and have never had any problems with ceramic noodles. Can't vouch for the others though.

I have all of the above and have no issues. You would have to think that most (if not all) long lasting media like this is inert, otherwise you'd always be chasing your tail keeping your parameters stable.

What can I say, I.ll keep checking it and keep doing wc with ro and di h2o and see if I can bring it down, thanks for replies guys.

Just saw this post, pure water (less than 10ppm) is highly corrosive.
