discus has half a fin on one side

Hey all. Im new to the forum but not to discus. Around two months ago i was in my local fish store and there was a 5-6 discus that had clamped fins and was almost completely black. Im a regular and the owner gave him to me. Ive wormed him and hes showing some good colors now. Hes always the first to greet me. But one of his side fins(im not sure of the proper term) is half missing still. Its the full length but only half there. Apart from still being skinny hes in good health

im assuming it is if there is anything that can be done about the fin?

If so, not really, just needs time to heal.

oh woops yea i was wondering if there is anything else i can do to help his fin grow?

the hard spines dont really ever grow back so you might have a bit of "lucky" finned nemo Discus for the rest of its life.
