StarFire/Normal Glass Question

Hey Guys,

I'm looking at getting a new 4-5Ftx2x2 display tank for Christmas, and I'm thinking about getting the front and sides made from starfire.

I've seen prices on standard tanks ranging from 350+, is it worth the extra cash and what do you generally expect to be paying.

I think it's pretty much a matter of personal preference Rob.. If you think it's worth it, go for it.
I've never had one personally, so I don't really know what I'm missing out on - if anything..
You're best bet would be to see one setup and see if the difference is noticeable or not.

Thanks Swampy, completely agree. I've seen a few starfire tanks, there nice, but I wouldn't want to pay alot more than a normal tank. It's the final tank that the wife will allow in the house and if starfire was an additional 100 dollars I would pay it.

At the end of the day mate, if YOU think they're worth it - then they are..

If they make a noticeable difference, then splurge since it's you're "last one" (until the next one :P) and it's you that has to be happy with it, not us..
