I noticed alot of you seem to either treat gill flukes with either PP or prazi got me a bit confused which is the best product? I have a bottle of this Wardley's para ex which contains 20mg trichlorphon(an anticholinesterase compound) it says it controls anchorworms, fish lice and gill flukes.

My question is would this be suitable in treating my discus for gill flukes as i noticed a few of my discus are rubbing against things and one of my turq's has been dark in colour for a while but still eating and acting normal?

Thanks jon

Its not uncommon for them to rub against things on occasions. I'll defer to the experts re medication choice if its deemed necessary.

But prazi is for gill flutes and tape worm if that helps.

Am struggling with auto seller on this new phone....

Yes 20mg trichlorphon tablets are quite good and I have found that in my case the blighters appeared used to prazi (recurrent bouts) but the 20mg trichlorphon knocked them off!

I ended up buying the prazi and running a course at the moment.Only really one of my discus is a bit dark in colour and rubbing the rest are all fine.
