hey all
just wondering other than discus what other fishes do you keep?
i would put Discus on the top of my list however i also like...
-fighting fish
-some flower horns
-catfishes
-and some south american cichlids..
just wanted to postsome pics...
if u have any plz share.. would love to see

(had to put the blue borders in pics to get them down to 128KB dun know how to change resolution on my digital camera.. pics come out oo big for forum.. way over 128KB so had to eidit pic to fit them in...)

Hi Kinezo I just have a question for you Ive wanted to get a siamese fighting fish for some time now are they actually able to live in those little bowls they sell for them without a heater or is that cruel and they need more space and a heater thanks

ive got a couple of bettas. 2 in medium/large bowls with out heating and filtering, and 1 in my 6ft display which is set at 29 degrees 2000L of filteration ect. bettas are fine in cool water but not below about 19 degrees and they can survive without filtration fine as they are laybrinth fish. of course the colder it is the less active they are. i would recomend start with 1 in your discus display when it has fully cleared up.

Thanks for that Merrilyn I might even do that but thanks to Kinezo also who pm me last night with a lot of very interesting and quite remarkable information I think I might pay my lfs a visit today. :lol:

other than that i have kept...
a display tank full of nothing but cardinals.. (2ft) don't have that anymore :9 but will again hopefully

but can never get enuff of discus discus and more discus hehehehe

Hi peoples!
Its funny as i seen every one has all these sorts of fish with thier discus, everytime i have added something with my discus it either dies or get eaten!
I guess i have the water parameters specific for discus.

Yeah mate im a bit of a water change freak lol. I cant help myself sometimes. But there is nothing more rewarding than i clean fishtank i rekon. benno
