Hi All

Just a question about filter for my saltwater fish only tank if yous guys can advice me on please

Can I just use a external canister filter with a hang on protein skimmer for a salt water fish tank only and not use a sump filter at all?

Also do I need to use powerheads for extra waterflow or will the canister filter flow be enough for just fish, live sand and live rocks?

If I can only use a external canister filter, what size filter will be good for a 450lt tank and what size/brand protein skimmer is good to use?
