Bare bottom tank

Hi all any advice about putting a live plant on driftwood in a bb tank?is it good or bad?and what sort should I get?

Seems the usual approach is Anubias. Tough, can cope with temperature and alkalinity and doesnt need substrate.

Anubias, normal, narrow and crested leaf Java fern will all be ok. You can also plant swords in small pots of gravel and they do well also.
