Just wondering what other breeders do when it comes to water changes whilst there are eggs.
of course we would not do a water change a couple of hours just after the pair have laid eggs but...
i run sponge filters in my tanks and do a 30-50 % water change every 2-3 days. When doing a water change whilst there are eggs is this likely to damage the eggs in any way? eg temp ph etc.
i am using a guard to cover the eggs so they will not be eaten, there is no worry in the pair eating the eggs.
also what about wrigglers?
still do a water change?
cheers,
Ben
