New L numbers 202 and 066

Hi,

Just bought some L numbers which I have 5x L202 at breeding size and 5x L066 which I believe are not all L066.

So I was just wondering anyone with a good eye could help me out.

1. I'm pretty sure this one is a L066

2. This one I'm not so sure.. Maybe an L401?? Sold as L066

Here are 3 of them as I throw the 2nd one back in the QT tank. Not sure of order either but the middle one looks flatter to me in the head and maybe a L401

Looking at the tail shape I'd say they're all 66's gold variant I have 2 that look just like the one your not sure of, 66's are very variable in terms of pattern but that tail is def 66

Ok so going by the tail shape this must be a L066. Thought this one was a L333

Lines arnt as fine as any of my 66's, id say it isnt. I think of 66's as a blak fish with white lines where as a 333 is a light fish with dark lines. I'd personally never keep 333's and 66's in the same tank almost impossible to tell apart and they will interbreed. If all your 66's are from the same spawn it's safe to say they are 66's if not then it's going to he near impossible to work out.

Yeah I think the second last shot is the only true L066 I have. The rest I'm not sure.

lol... Never said I was not happy with them.. Just wanted to know if they are L066.. But now I know they will breed no matter what does not matter...

I have some great looking L202's as well.. Only thing I dont like about them is they spend all day in the caves!

Lol all I ever see of my l numbers is tails hanging put of caves still when you catch a glimpse they are awesome

my 333 are black and white!!!!! not light and dark? they are proper BLACK and crisp white

333's are also known as gold/ yellow king tiger vs the 66 who are king tigers super golden 333's are a Very high grade the whiter ones are a lower grade. My 66's are pristine white with super finelines some people have thought they were juvinile 260's ( could have made a killing if I was super dodgy :) )

Picking juvinile 333 and 66 is a massive pita the color of both species ranges from white to yellow generally the 66 have longer tails bs body length and as I said are a black fish with fine white/yellowish lines where as the 333 is a white to gold fish with black lines but again it's all perspective.

Just hope the breeder knows what they have

Well from what I have read 333 live in caves and 66 only go into a cave to breed.. All my 66 are on wood

LOL will try and post some pics of my 66's, males cave and fan constantly (still no fry) females come in and out as the need takes them but time will tell.

sorry i cant get better photos the damn 377's and pep fry keep etting in the way and I\m not going to disturb a tank with an 11 cm male fanning his guts out.

hello mate L066 there is only black and white type but L333 there is 2 type black and white and gold and black

to be honest yours dont look like L066 or L333 yours look like L129 by the sizeof them as they look like adult fsh but next to the shrimp they aint that big here is my male L333 gold type :

also L066 markings are alot finer lines hope this helps you out to me yours look like a group of L129 with mixed sex's
