it's official..... i have a tank full of horny lesbain females....

yesterday my so called male ss laid eggs and today my turq layed eggs..... they make such a lovely couple...lol

so that makes 2 pairs of lesbain discus in my tank..... very depressing to see so many eggs and not even one male to fertalise them.

I AM IN DESPERATE NEED OF A MALE!!!!

note that none of them have even taken notice of the brand new breeding pole that i hand made for them... little buggers!

i think he is VERY lucky! :D
all the discus i get usually turn out 2 be males! it is easier to get a good looking male than a good female. all his females are excellent shape and colour :shock: :lol:

It's a shame Discus don't breed harem style like other Cichlids - you'd be set - through in a male & fry city....

Do you have a tv setup near the tank ? Perhaps your fish were watching too much Mardi Gra ??? ;)

no not yet
i moved recently and have not had the time since to go looking for a suitable male. they still keep spawning about once a week.....

i will get a male soon...i hope

good luck matt. you are lucky with the females i know you prob dont think so but if you saw my fish and the amount of males i have you would be happy! LOL

they lay eggs every where!!!! on the glass, in the corners , on the filter tubes, on the breeding pole i made them and EVEN ON THE BACK OF A SMALL DIGITAL THERMOMETER!
