I finally found a pair of Cacatuoides that i was happy with. Seeing a tank full of these guys was quite spectacular. I was lucky enough to get in the day they came out of quarantine.
The female was hiding out but here is the male.

Orange Flash. I was originally after a pair of Sunburst but when i saw these guys i couldnt resist.
They have only been in the tank for 24 hours and are already looking like spawning. I think that a good feed of mossie larvae and a water change will do the trick. ;)

Ado - this fish looks like a sunburst and most unlike the orange flash I have seen and breed. The orange flash has completely orange finnage, unlike the red-ness of your fish. regardless if your happy thats good - it looks like a very nice fish.
take care
PS: look out for off=spring of my strain in Sydney shortly ;-)

I agree with Hassles, they look very much like a red coloured sunburst. I have some of the orange ones at the moment with fry. I definately have to take some photos of my apistos with my new camera. But I'm so wrapped up in my new wild bettas at the moment.
