Bob, the Tefe's are F3 and a great size - approx 10-12cm. The Browns are juveniles approx 5cm. I'll ask the exporter for more details.

Stonehaven, Air freight to Bris is approx $65/std fish box (holds approx 4-6Lrg Discus) no minimum qty.

VERY hard to get non enhanced fish these days all you can really go on is the shape size and general health, moving forward the aquarium industry is getting smaller and smaller, so as a comunity we have to pull together.

George and SLS are more then welcome to post anyfish they have for sale.

As with any imported fish just dont expect what you buy to look the same forever.

I agree it is pretty much becoming common place for all imported discus to be colour enchanced in one form or another. My main concern is the misleading of this supplier that has taken part before which has been proven well and truly :?

As Illusn has stated, the aquarium industry is shrinking every week, to the point there is a real concern if it can sustain itself in a commercial capacity. This is due to proposed changes of what can be imported, the general economic climate, plus many other reasons.

We are not saying buy something from SLS, however permission has been provided to them to advertise fish on this forum, any other issues, past or present is something that needs to be left off the public fora.

I'm putting in a vote of confidence for SLS & George.

I spent about 30mins in there on Sunday morning browsing their Discus stock. Some fine discus in there.

I would have loved to have spent alot more. Some interesting strains that i've not seen elsewhere and the stock was all quite healthy and well developed.

I came away with a Brown Turq around 9cm. I love him/her because it is the closest to a wild I have and will look great with my pigeons, red turqs (old style), snakeskin & Red Melon.

The Altum Flora breeding pair which has been sold is just amazing to see up close. Some great breeding pairs but well out of my price range.

nice looking fish George, pigion based RGD's seem to have come along way in the last few years, that male has no peppering on the face or body. Did you have any trouble getting the fry to attach?

These RGD pr's are stunning and super clean.. Theres about 20fry with this pr, free swimming as of the 3rd Feb. The biggest issue is losing fry down the overflow in the first few days..
