I have Ram fry!!!

Hey,

Well after a few years of trying I finally have my first batch of Blue Ram fry!!

A few pics of the 5 day old fry. See them right near the surface.

Well woke up this morning and I have lost a few fry!! :(

Why could this be? The only thing I can think of is the food, because they are so small it is hard to tell if they are eating or not?

Other then that I have been doing small water changes 2 x a day and temp is about 25.

Any thoughts??

I have alwats found that Rams do better in a higher temp than 25. I have always kept mine around 28-29C. Is the temp dropping during the night?

Ok thanks Ado I'll crank up the heat! It does get cold at night so if it's up higher even with the drop it shouldn't go too low.

Rams are often kept with Discus and Rams are notorious for being bad parents. Best of luck.
