Up Aqua Atomizer

Hi,
i just installed a up aqau atomizer on my eheim 2215 filter last night and when i turned the filter on it started to produce tiny bubbles and cloudy like in the water. Now today i cant even see bubbles coming out of the spraybar and no cloudy water, is this atomizer working properly??? My ph wont go below 7.0 either. Any suggestions and the discus look like there breathing fast thats the only sign i can see if its working or not.

Hi Axl,

My understanding of this atomiser is that you should get very little, if any trace of Co2 in the return stream. It's meant to be extremely efficient, meaning that all Co2 will be dissolved in to the water column by the time it returns to the tank.

There are CO2 test kits or drop checkers available to test for Co2 concentrations so I'd get one of those. Also, I'd check all connections on your Co2 supply for leaks (just in case).

I'd like to see some pics of your Co2 setup if available. I'm planning one myself in near future.
