Aggressive Pair

Hey Guys,

I have purchased a "pair" of discus as i was informed by a shopkeeper, i have had them in a 2 x 14 x 14 tank and 1 fish is pushing the other fish into the corner and now and then they lock jaws but mostly he pushes her back into the corner.

Any ideas guys, could it be two males? and i was lied to?
