Trapped Water

Guys,

Tell me if I’m being paranoid, but you know when you use a terracotta pot and you place it in the aquarium, it traps water in the cone right?. Will that water as it is trapped under the cone after a period of time become toxic?

Stupid question always something that sticks in my mind.

TERROCOTTA IS POROUS SO YOU'LL HAVE A SLOW SEEP OF WATER INTO AND OUT OF THE POT, ITS NEVER A PROBLEM.
