My new apistos have spawned already !

Just discovered my A.Pebas "Sp.Morado Purple" have laid eggs. This pair are looking more colourful every day.Estimate around 30-40 eggs.

My A.Trifasciata have spawned recently without my knowledge, now have around 30 tiny fry :)

Have now purchased a large breeding setup with a sump type filter system and will eventually grow out all my babies in these tanks. I really needed to expand my setup as the success im having with spawns from my apistos & rams is growing and growing.

Will get some pics up once all finished.

congrats on the spawn, its always exciting. Apistos are funny things, give them the right water and it doesnt take much else to get them to spawn usually.

I lost my first A. erythrura spawn after about 3 days - never saw wrigglers so x fingers your fish behave better than mine.
