Hi Darren
Thanks for the pics. Stunning fish, Very tempting indeed.
Which tribe did they originate from if you don't mind me asking?
The Forest, The Tan or the Darren tribe?
I'll keep considering but those Leopard Snakes are looking good to me.

not surprised the pair sold promptly. Thanks to you !
Ah, I think I know who has them then. Our mutual friend, Rox? I did tell her about them & gave her the link to your add. Told her I'd buy at least that pair myself - if only I had the cash ..... but those wild greens wiped me out for a while
do you have any tank room if i send you a pressie !Well, I can always make room for a pressie - but Darren there's no need for that all. It's good just to know those beauties went to a good home. I'd find that the most worrying thing, if ever I am forced to sell my discus ..... what if their new owner doesn't love & care for them as they deserve ..... but there's no worries about that, not with Rox as their new mum :D

Wow, Darren - I can't thank you enough.
My ARGD X Golden intermediate is swimming around in my tank. Lights are off, so I can't really see his full beauty - but I can see enough to know this is one gorgeous boy.
You sure picked well for me, seems you know just the sort of discus I like :thumb
I will try for pictures for you on the weekend, so you can see how your boy is doing.
BTW, I am sure you did say it's male .... didn't you?

Hi everyone,
Thought i would post a few pics of the ABD's i bought off Darren.
I bought 5 and ended up with 2 fertile pairs & a spare female. I wish i had room for the other 4. Good luck with the sale mate. I have another 3X4 footers that i am plumbing in over the next few weeks so i might grab them if they are still available.

Ben

You're a very lucky person TW. That's a very beautiful and generous pressie.
I'll have to arrange a time to meet you person one day,I work down the road at Holsworthy when I'm home. I'd love to see your wild's tank and ask about your large setup before I commit to mine.

Swampy ;)I sure was lucky. I can't believe how nice this was of Darren.
A tank visit? Sure, but u assure you my tanks are nothing special, but IMO my wild red spotted greens are. But then I'm biased, as they are my pets after all :)

cheersYes, he seems to be doing well. His extended Qt with a hero discus just finished & I plan on moving him to the 138g planted tank in the next week or so.
When he first arrived he had two quite cloudy eyes. I think he was in the bag too long - absolutely not from you i know that - def was on bag too long. You might remember the night they arrived, our phone chat (with Rox) & that I was with Rox in her shop getting her discus into their tank. It was really, really late before I got him home & into his own tank. Other than salt & clean water, no treatment was needed & both eyes cleared up perfectly. Initially it was the eyes that stopped me posting a pic as I didn't want you to know (felt a bit guilty). Then I plain forgot I hadn't shown you the pic I promised earlier.

Thanks Darren. I'm a big fan of the classic albinos and flamingos. When I get back to Aust in a few weeks I may have to go hat in hand to the 'minister of finance and fun' to seek approval.
All the best with the sale.
