Since my last bout of trouble after Christmas most of our discus have fully recovered. Two I am still concerned about.
I treated the tank with Big L about 4 days ago and am nearly ready for the 2nd dose. There is enough salt in the tank to make the rams just sit on the plants so I might need to dilute it a bit.
The blue diamond has always had a "mouthing" respiration rate of double to triple that of similar sized discus. I had hoped the recent treatments might have helped but no relief so far.
The turq has damaged fins, presumably finrot which hasn't improved over the last month or so of treating the tank with salt.
Sorry about the poor pic but I think he also has an aversion to cameras.
Any suggestions on what to try next? (No, not the camera shyness, :shock: the finrot & high respiration rate :roll: )
