what to do

hi i've had this little one for a while and it doesn't seem to be growing other than into an odd shape , what do i do with it

This fish is a real runt, classic stunted fish, what are the others like??

Even though it is stunted, it will still be healthy, so no need to cull (up to you of course) but I would not let it breed. You can use this fish (if healthy) as a sacrificial lamb to test new fish in QT before you add new fish to existing stock. If this fish catches a cold from new fish in QT, you have not lost a fish that you will really miss.

Hi Dan, thanks for the pm. Yes, you are right, not the best looking fish, but it is healthy, that is the main thing. I do not have a problem with these fish, other than when local fish shops sell them to unsuspecting keepers for stupid prices.
It will lead a happy life with your others, and judging where you got it from, I can see why it became stunted.

Not much you can do with it now, once stunted like this it will never grow properly.
