Hi all. I have a small cube 6L tank with plants and some lovely Cherry Red Shrimps.
Today, when I was feeding I noticed an uninvited guest in the tank. I never noticed it before today.
My guess is that it is a dragonfly nymph BUT as I've never seen a live nymph before I am putting it out here to see if anyone can confirm.
Thanks in advance.

Was wondering what happened to my shrimp! I went from 14 to about 8 now. I do love dragonfly though. Where should I put the nymph.

Where should I put the nymph.
Lake Eucumbene right in front of a big brown trout!

Now, now. Dragonflys just happen to be my favourite insect. Why would I feed the nymph to a trout?
Play nice.

On further research it looks more like a mayfly nymph, especially as it is so big in such a short time. Mayfly is herbivorous, I'm in luck. Dragonfly nymph doesn't have the split tail.
Here's hoping!
