i got a couple of discus from the lfs a week ago they were in a tank with gravel in it mine are bb i have noticed that they swim sideways when they are on the bottom of the tankthey swim fine in mid water it's just when they are on the bottom i mean touching glass bottom thought they were
sick .i moved a couple of discus from a planted tank to a bb the other day
and they do the same thing mine i know are healthy do u think they are looking at there reflection or what ? kind of wierd huh

They just think you took away the bottom of the tank, and they're trying to get to that good looking fish on the other side of the glass LOL.

Don't worry, they'll soon get used to a bare bottom tank.

I thought that the fish wouldnt see a reflection from the inside of the tank. We only see it because of the angle we view it from.

Unless a mirror was used to make the tank.
