After a couple of months out of discus keeping i couldnt resist on Sunday and i picked up these two that im hoping are a pair. They are still a bit shy but they are getting braver all the time.

What strain are they?

And a couple of my Apistogramma Trifasciata in spawning mode. I expect more eggs today or tomorrow.

Well done mate, brilliant pair of turks with great confirmation. Tank also looks nice, can you upload a general shot of the tank so we can see there new home.

wow they are a very nice pair of red turks , they look to have good shape and colour . good luck with them

Very nice fish! Would be interested in purchasing some apisto fry - hope they do spawn for you!

Im glad i waited for the right fish to come along.... It took massive amounts of will power.... :D

Barracuda: I have a few fry atm and they are about to spawn again but it would be a few months before i had any ready to pass on. I will post on the forum when they are ready. :D

Beautiful discus and apisto. I'd be interested in apisto fry too, when you're ready to advertise any for sale.

I dont mind giving them a good rap if its ok with the mods....

I got them from JMS Aquarium at Carlingford. They get some fantastic discus at times. They had some spectacular juvis on the weekend.

Nice Turks, not your normal turk , thay have advanced patterning.

They look as though they are about to spawn any moment. They are passing over as if doing practice runs. ;)

JMS has some great discus. They have these paper signs above their tanks showing "DISCUS DISCUS" lol.

Great turks. They almost look like snakeskins?

So how does this particular patterning come about? Crossed at some point with a leopard spot?

Its better then my drawing posted when somebody wanted to know where the anus was. I got busted drawing it at work with an arrow pointing to its butt with a sign saying ANUS! :oops:
