Hey guys bit of a panic last night.. got home and sat down to waych the clan eat their dinner, and noticed that every little clump of java moss i recentley purchased is forming some stringy looking algae.

how do i fix?? my thoughts are remove all moss and suck up any floating algae. then do a big water chnage

any advice would be fantastic i would love to get rid of it before it runs riot.

TIA Justin

is ther such a thing as an algae treatment that doesnt hurt plants ?

if so put java moss in a quarantine tank and treat there b4 it spreads to rest of community tank..

those parameters are all fine i'm guessing you have too much light, try reducing the photoperiod to 8 hours and see if that keeps algae at bay.
