Very much like yourself I found my female macmasteri was truly impressive in spawning dress and in fact never changed in all the months since. Again, like your experiences the female tolerasted the male's presence and have never had the need to segregate them. The fry, now 'almost' ready to move on look much better than their parents with some of the males already exhibiting the beginnings of their orange caudal fins. My school were spawn in PH <6 around 25 degrees C
