My 17yr old son let my trusty Fluval 303 slip from his hands. It hit the ground the and the cannister shattered.
I only require the cannister to save this great external filter. Anyone?
OR
If someone has an idea about HOW to make a cannister, I'm open to ideas.

try doing the ring around, you'd be amazed how many shops have old stock "out the back" 3 series were the best filters fluval ever made if you can fix it hang onto it, both the 4 and 5 series that folowed were garbage.

Prob with the eBay item is that it is local pickup only. I am in Sydney. I know that Boronia Aquarium sells the cannister as a part- BUT $85 plus postage.

Which leads me to ponder whether it is worth replacing OR just go with a new generic cannister???
Anyone?

dont waste your money on a generic, parts are expensive cause their worth it, if your going to replace it let me know and I'll buy the 303 head off you.
