ok so i have a small pair eating frozen bloodworms with no problems that seem to have plague symptoms. they both have cloudy eyes but the slime on one has completely cleared up. heres the problem...the one with no slime left cannot swim, he just floats near the top on his side and the other guy who still has slime is acting completely normal. no amonia reading, ph is fine, temp is roughly 87-88, 30% water changed every other day for the past week, and tank has been medicated with binox. is there anything else that can be done?

edit- the tank also smells really strong, almost spicy like. He has been swimming vertically with his mouth at the top of the tank, He'll swim normally for a few seconds and then stay still in that vertical position with the mouth at the top.

I'm sure someone will post a more educated reply, but a picture, your ph, nitrite, nitrate and a double check on your ammonia would help.
Your tank should not really smell, double your water changes (aged and treated). Make sure that the tank is aerated. Describe / show your filtration.
