Hey Bud.

It's good to see someone so young interested in discus.

No one has said it yet, so, who do you know who has discus, what and how much do you know about the fundamentals (basics) of looking after them?

That includes the requirements for the fishes survival, ie food, water, lighting, tank size and tank mates. Each of the three elements, food, water and lighting have numerious options as do tank size and tank mates.

I don't give advice and so here are some options for you to think about.

With regards to keeping discus:

1 You can do it the EASY WAY - read a lot and ask questions and learn from other peoples mistakes.

2 You can do it the HARD WAY - learn from your own mistakes and lose a lot of money and go prematurely bald.

Bottom line is, this is a very good site with a magnitude of wonderful people willing to help out.
