I read somewhere to have the light turned on 24/7 so that the fry can find the parents easier.
Well, a week into my first spawn that survived and the water is turning green pretty fast (I assume it's algae growth). Even with 10% daily water change, I can't seem to control the algae. The tank is not exposed to sunlight, I just have the overhead light on all the time.
Is this normal? Up the water change? Turn off light? Kinda nervous about next steps.
Also, is it normal for one parent to be exclusively feeding the fry? The male seems to have no interest in doing his share of the work.
