Not the best quality pics.
The tank is 4ft, 100% of the water, canister,substrat came from my other 6ft been running for very long time.
So putting the 2 discus in at 6weeks is all good since every thing is aged and this is the only way to stop them from breeding as the other 4 pairs still at it. (running out of space for babies)..

Awesome aquascape mate. Your tank is truely eye catching and i'm sure you can sit back and watch it for hours. Thx for sharing... :wink:

Hey Ken,
Tank is looking very nice. i love it. Shame your rescaping but i bet the next layout is going to be just as better. :wink:
PS. the Ricca and Xmas moss you gave me is settling in nicely. I have the ricca floating at the moment until i decide the best way to use it. The xmas moss is tied onto my driftwood. I will be posting pictures down the track (in my journal) when i have it the way i want it. Still need to get more eco complete and plant dwarf swords.

XPLOSV, great looking tank. Mind if I ask what your setup was regarding lighting, substrate, CO2 etc etc. The plant growth is amazing. Dying to have my tank look like that.

Hi Dwayne, sorry some how I miss my own thread....
Lighting:
T5 8x54W H/O 1210 Long Individual Reflectors, sitting about 10cm above tank.
Tubes: 2x10K, 2x14K, 2x20K & 2xActinic
1 power plug for every 2 tubes connect to a timer to come on/off at different time during the day for 9 hours.
Substrate:
- 7 bags ADA Aqua Soil Amazonia 9L (Normal)
- ADA Bacter 100
- ADA Turmaline BC
C02:
4lt Kegking co2 bottle
10 bps (fish and plants seem happy)
Large size Rhinox diffusers.
Dosing:
I use this, see below link.

Filter:
- Aqua One Aquis 2400 Canister Filter
- Eheim Classic 2215
- Connect to Cal Aqua Labs Inflow/Outflow pipes
Water change 50% once a week
Result: Plants growing like weed.
Let me know if I miss any thing.
AHC: I have a handful or 2 of riccia available if you want it.
If any one want some free stems plants let me know, I'm doing a trim this weekend.

What are the plants to the left of the val?? bright green bushy ones.
cant ever find anything like that in brissy
