Gravel Vaccuming

How often is it necessary to vaccum the gravel? I notice whenever i gravel vac, the water turns dirty for about a day...is this ok?

EVERY WATER CHANGE! you have no ide what kind of muck builds up in gravel, at least 2x a week but a quick vac each night in the feeding area is best.
