Which is better as the more general medication? Do they work independently or are they interdependent?

IME & IMO they are both a waste of money. Some people say they work, but the general concensus in the UK is that they have no beneficial use in the tank at all. Try a water change and see better results.

Oh, I forgot, I like them because they smell nice, that's it :wink:

I use them on my bettas when there are nips in the tails but as a treatment for anything major............. nup

....I agree hollowman.. most of the gunk sold in stores is garbage, only there to help the lazy mans hobby, and to make a buck!.. the prize one is Waste control.. :? :roll:
I try to eductate my customers when they come in..
I too have used it in the past yrs.. its a waste of money for sure..
