Hole in the side?

Hi,

One of my discus has what appears to be a white HEX like discharge coming from the side of the fish along what I presume is the lateral line. I've never seen this before but am I correct in assuming it should be treated as per HITH?

Thanks. Appers to have been brought about by the heatwave - tank got to 35 degrees the other weekend. The affected fish stopped eating for a day but then appeared to recover but must have been enough for the HEX to establish.

Good news. Maybe just stress, but discus can take higher temps for a short time. make sure you carry on changing the water regularly to keep the quality up.
