I am trying to improve my eye when it comes to choosing discus. This is Pepper, it does not show on the pic but she does have some peppering on her chin and a few body spots and I am not too unhappy as she is in a planted tank.

I would appreciate some comments to help me with future choices. when I can get him to hold still I will post a pic of my lss for critique also

beutiful shape, the eye is perfectly sized to the body, good coloration, maybe reduce the ammount of colorbits your feeding, the face and pectrol fins look a little too orange.

Choosing discus has nothing to do with peppering. It's just genetics inpacted by environmental factors within your tank.

Still she is a great looking pigeon blood that i would rate highly.
