Well, u got the names pretty much right except "Turquoise pigeon".... sounds a bit like a contradiction. That fish is a pigeon.... nice one at that.
Snake skins just means that when they bar up, they have 14bars instead of the usual 9bars. The snakeskins will eventually have much finer lines and markings especially on the face.
Pigeons or any of the red variants (except for 'red alenquers, which should be classed as brown), shoul NOT have any baring on the body.

OK!!! I CAN RELATE TO THIS!: i got exactly same thing a while ago, but when i bought it looked totaly different and yes was called a snakeskin. ithink sometimes these people (when u buy online) dont have whats in their photoes and just sell what they have instead. u probably bought it from somethingsphishy.com ? hehehe if so, but anyway, it's a nice fish. but not what i expected...

that is a snakeskin in the foreground... A snakeskin will have 14 stress bars, whereas a normal discus has 6 or 7 normally..

so stress bars should go away if it's completely happy? like with more water changes?
