Problems getting eggs to wriggler stage.

Hi guys,

Well my white swan pair has spawned on a weekly or two weekly basis almost ever since they landed here. However, they do not eat the white eggs and I had a problem with fungus. Now using a fungicide they still eat the eggs.

I tried the mesh thing and they went crazy. Not too sure whether they are eating the eggs because they become fungused or just cos they are poor parents. I know some of the eggs are fertile because some hatched artificially. I just don't have the time to artificially raise these guys...

Any ideas? :)

A gutter guard over the eggs and lots of meth blue in the water.

See what the parents do when the eggs hatch... Maybe instinct will kick in.

Where did get the pair from?

Yeah they got really agitated when I put the gutter guard on, might try that again see if they get used to it. Will the parents be affected by the meth blue? I've tried it at the concentration recommended on the bottle but there is still fungus.
